If you own a Mountain Trike or would like to own one the chances are you are a lover of the great outdoors – this can be anything from trips to the park, out for woodland rambles with friends and family, or even climbing a mountain.  Other options for getting out and about is to enjoy a good festival or outdoor event – be it a music festival, literacy festival, food festival or the local summer fair – and during the summer months there are an abundance of these for us to enjoy. Julie Sawchuk keeps active thanks to her Mountain Trike Julie Sawchuk from Canada, lived a very active life – for two and a half years she trained as a triathlete – swim-bike-run.  She worked as a high school biology teacher and enjoyed the outdoor life with her husband and two young children. In July 2015 her life changed forever – she was out training on her bike when she was hit by a car. She suffered severe injuries and damage to multiple systems – fractured skull, shattered T4 and burst L1 vertebrae, broken ribs, nose – to name a few. Mountain Trike Company expand their UK distributor network with Exeter Disability Centre EDC Mountain Trike Demo model The Mountain Trike company, a UK business who manufacture and design all terrain wheelchairs have expanded their UK distributor network and announce Exeter Disability Centre as their distributor covering the counties Devon & Somerset in the South West.
