The Mountain Trike all terrain wheelchair products offer a comfortable and safe ride over uneven terrain. This is predominately due to the unique design and use of shock absorbers which are found on mountain bikes and help absorb or dampen the compression and rebound of the springs and suspension.If you think the suspension on your Mountain Trike all terrain wheelchair isn’t providing the support and stability you need it might be that your shock absorbers need pumping up. The shock absorbers naturally lose pressure over time, but you can simply pump it up using a Shock Pump – which can be purchased from bike shops, just search suspension shock pump.We set the shocks to 90psi which suits most people, but you could put a bit more air in (e.g. 100-110psi) if you wanted it harder and offering more support.See the attached downloadable instructions on how to do this below.The instructions show how…

We are deeply saddened to share the news that our friend and Manufacturing Director Geoff Berrisford passed away recently following a battle with Cancer. Geoff showed his typical incredible determination through this battle and will be sorely missed.As our community will know, we are a small, close-knit team and Geoff’s passing is adevastating loss for us all. He was a true hero ‘behind the scenes’ at Mountain Trike having shown amazing belief in our aims since the first time he tried Tim’s first prototype and contributed his vast manufacturing expertise to the production models. We have enjoyed the last 15 years working together and have many great memories. It is thanks to Geoff that we are where we are today and we are incredibly thankful for his efforts which have enabled our customers to enjoy such life changing freedom and adventure with their Mountain Trikes.We will be closed on Monday 21.10.24 for…
