It always amazes me, the scale if the NEC and the operational logistics of it.
The outer concourse that gives access to the exhibition halls feels like heaven when rolling along using an efficient pushing technique. Letting the wheelchair do the work. I felt like I owned the place. Knowing I was saving energy enabling me to keep going, further, for longer.

It always amazes me, the scale if the NEC and the operational logistics of it. I had a fantastic time expanding my network with such a diverse group of businesses! It was equally wonderful to catch up with familiar faces and old friends.
Impressive Car Parking Arrangements
It’s not just the scale of the exhibition centre building that leaves me in ore but the parking. It feels like the size airport. It’s immense! After a brief period of confusion regarding my car’s location, I turned to the staff for help. The power of ANPR proved its worth—within moments, the attendant had radioed back with the exact spot where my car was. Fortunately, I was only a few minutes away.
Wrapping up the Follow Up’s
Naidex was a high-energy event. The real magic happens in the days immediately following it. To turn those booth chats into meaningful partnerships signposts.
Emails have been sent and online meetings arranged to spread the word about Freedom Wheelchair Skills. Resulting in people becoming more independent and confident using their wheelchairs.
Travel
Briefly finishing off this blog highlighting the wonder that is the M40 and M42 motorways. Both were offering a clear route to my final destination. The distance of around 100 miles seemed to pass easily. The drive felt good, the car was clean, and always drives soother when clean. The ICE (in car entertainment) accompanied me with BBC SIX downloads.
